By participating in the SmartPay Plan, you know in advance what your monthly bill will be. We spread your fuel costs across 12 even monthly payments to help you more easily budget your expenses. The SmartPay Plan alleviates some of the stress of rising fuel costs and ensures that you don’t get stuck paying for entire deliveries during the winter months when people are experiencing higher monthly expenses.

SmartPay is a convenient way for you to manage your costs and payments each month. To calculate your monthly payment, we use your delivery history to estimate the total number of gallons you will need. We then combine that cost with the cost of any service plans you're enrolled in to estimate your monthly payment. You don’t need to worry about using less fuel than we’ve budgeted for because if you do, you will receive a refund of the remaining balance on the account plus a 2% rebate at the end of the program period.

We will review your fuel use over the past few winters and calculate a monthly payment schedule for you. Then, you will make 12 equal, predictable, monthly payments. There is no cost to enroll in this program that protects you from unexpected high heating bills in the winter months.

A typical homeowner in our area who uses 600 gallons of fuel a year could spend $600 each month from December through March and another $600 for the rest of the year. Cold weather could necessitate getting two deliveries in a month, at a cost of over $1,200 in that month alone. With SmartPay Plan, that same homeowner would only pay about $300 per month.

By enrolling in SmartPay Plus Plan, you can have payments automatically withdrawn from your bank account. Each month, your payment is simply deducted from your checking account.
