Furnaces

heating systems

A furnace is a heating system that warms your home by sending heated air through ducts. These heating systems can be fueled by electricity, oil, propane or natural gas. They are installed in most U.S. homes, excluding regions in the Southeast, where the climate is primarily hot and humid.

Furnaces operate by receiving a signal from a thermostat when the internal temperatures of the home drop below the desired temperature. When this happens, the furnace’s fuel source will ignite and warm the air. Blowers then force the heated air into the ducts and out of the home’s registers.

Boilers

heating systems

Boilers heat the home by boiling or warming water and sending the hot water or steam through pipes and radiators. Heat gets generated in a central area of the house and distributed evenly. These systems can be fueled by natural gas, oil, electricity or propane.

They typically sit atop a burner where the fuel is burned to produce heat and the water needed to provide warmth is heated inside a tank. Though equally effective at providing heat, steam boilers are often less energy-efficient than hot water boilers.

Heat Pumps

heating systems

Heat pumps are systems that both heat and cool the home. They use electricity to transfer heat from the air into the home rather than directly generating heat. They look and operate like an air conditioner, but they can also heat your home.

Ductless Mini-Splits

Living Room With Air Conditioner

Ductless mini-splits allow you to create separate heating and cooling zones with separate thermostats and require no ductwork. This makes them perfect for home additions, renovations or older homes that can’t add or extend duct systems.

You can control the temperature in each room and save money by not using the system in an unused space. Ductless mini-splits also run exclusively with electricity.

Contact us today to take the next step in providing reliable heating and cooling to your home. We will evaluate and repair your current system or install a new one.

Tankless Water Heaters

To ensure your home has a reliable supply of hot water running through it, we install and replace tankless water heaters fueled by gas or electricity. These water heaters heat the water directly and can deliver a continuous flow that ensures you never run out of hot water.

They are also energy-efficient and waste no energy. Tankless water heaters only run when an appliance calls for water or a faucet is opened. Additionally, tankless water heaters use separate units for each major appliance, increasing energy efficiency while lowering operating costs.

If you are not interested in a tankless water heater we have you covered with conventional water heaters. Conventional water heaters keep water in storage tanks at a set temperature and distribute hot water on an as-needed basis. It can be tough to choose which water heater is the best fit for your home when there are several factors like fuel source, efficiency, water usage, and size.
