Whether you are a current SMO Energy client moving out, or a new homeowner moving into a home where you will use heating oil, propane, or need HVAC equipment maintenance, repair, or replacement, we are here to make your moving experience easier.
Moving Out?
Changing Your Delivery Status
Depending on your heating oil or propane needs during your move, we will update your SMO Energy account to reflect a delivery schedule that best suits your needs. We have found that some homeowners prefer to leave their account as is until the day they move, and other clients that prefer to switch from automatic delivery to a will call delivery status. That way they can control their delivery schedule based on their expected remaining time in their home.
What Do I Do If I Have A Leased Propane Tank?
We will work with you and the new homeowner to set up the existing propane tank in the new homeowner’s name.
Moving Out Special
New homeowners often turn to the previous homeowner for information regarding the home’s heating fuel and HVAC equipment. SMO Energy can provide you with a detailed report about the heating fuel usage, as well as information regarding the HVAC equipment, to provide to the new homeowner. We will gladly provide this information at no cost. If the new homeowner becomes an SMO Energy client, we will send you a $ 50 gift card for referring them to SMO Energy.
